Vol. 2

So I finally saw Kill Bill Volume 2. What I really liked was the storyline as it tied up all of the loose ends from Volume 1 and explained the history leading up to everything. I also really enjoyed the scene with the Bride and Elle in the trailer (I'm talking about the eyeball) - I know, I'm sick.

What I liked more about Volume 1 were the scenes with O-Ren Ishii and the Crazy 88s. Too cool.

The summer blockbuster season is quickly approaching, but I'm not really looking forward to M:i:III or Superman; I really want to see The Da Vinci Code and, believe it or not, Nacho Libre. The trailers look ridiculous! Oh, and after enjoying a green tea latte with melon at Starbucks last night (they're giving Blenz and run for their money), I really want to see Akeelah and the Bee. What is our fascination with spelling bee movies? First it was Spellbound, then Bee Season, now this.
