Last night, after a huge meal and an obligatory pint of green beer, I decided to stop at the video store and rent a couple of movies - Thumbsucker and Proof. For me, Vince Vaughn (in Thumbsucker) and Jake Gyllenhaal (in Proof) were to 2005 what Jude Law was to 2004. These two were/are everywhere. I've seen them in so many movies lately - Be Cool/Mr and Mrs Smith/Wedding Crashers and Brokeback Mountain/Jarhead respectively. I liked Thumbsucker (but not as much as similar movies despite the somewhat famous cast) and I really (surprisingly) liked Proof. I really am pure nerd.
